At the Symposium on June 30, 2011 celebrating the establishment of Integrated Research Center and the first anniversary of the Graduate School of System Informatics of Kobe University, Prof. Sy Friedman ~~is going to give~~ gave a lecture on "Mathematical Logic and its Role in Computer Science and Mathematics"
This year's Logic Summer School in Japan (数学基礎論サマースクール2011) features model theory and will be held on August 29 -- August 31 at the Department of Engineering of Kobe University. This meeting is organized by Ikuo Yoneda and Hirotaka Kikyo, and partially sponsored by our group.
RIMS Set Theory Workshop 2011 - Aspects of Descriptive Set Theory -
(organized by Hiroshi Fujita) will be held on October 19 - 21, 2011 in Kyoto, Japan.
Meeting of Young Logicians in Japan (数学基礎論若手の会) organized by Hiroshi Sakai will be held on December 9 - 11, 2011 in Osaka, Japan.
